A group of women who are transforming the lives of high school girls through financial literacy, long-term mentoring, academic incentives, and dedicated support; closing the financial literacy gap and propelling young women of color toward success in college and beyond. The network is comprised of:
Women who understand how to manage their finances and have a positive relationship with money
Women who maintain supportive relationships with their mentors and community of sisters
Women who are motivated to set and achieve challenging goals
Together we help each other learn, grow, and succeed!

Why women of color?
Women of color head 50% of their households.
Women of color are paid 42% less than white women.
Women of color are overrepresented in low-paying jobs and hold the largest pay gap as compared to white males (54¢ gap).
Why financial literacy?
Financial Literacy is lower among, women of color compared to white women.
Women of color correctly answered 38% of financial literacy questions compared to 54% of white women.
Financial wellness among women of color lags behind white women on average 23%
Why mentors matter?
Adults who were mentored:
are more likely to hold leadership positions
develop a greater sense of self
report that being mentored had a significant impact on their education, professional work, and mental health
